Account Deletion
You can request the deletion of your Block Star Journey account and all associated data at any time. We provide two ways to do this:
Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
- Open Block Star Journey on your device
- From the main menu, tap the Settings button (gear icon)
- Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted immediately.
Option 2: Email Request
If you cannot access the app, send an email to support@glimmergridgames.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
Please include your Player ID if you have it (found in Settings). We will process your request and delete your data within 30 days.
What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:
- Player Profile: Player name, avatar, and profile settings
- Game Progress: Level progress, stars, XP, and achievements
- Currency & Inventory: Coins, gems, power-ups, and owned skins
- Cloud Save Data: All cloud-stored game saves
- Analytics Data: Gameplay events and session data linked to your account
- Push Notification Tokens: FCM registration tokens
- Support Tickets: Any support conversations associated with your account
- Leaderboard Entries: Your scores on weekly, monthly, and overall leaderboards
⚠️ Important
- Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All progress, purchases (except through Google Play refund policy), and data will be lost.
- If you have made in-app purchases, the purchases are tied to your Google Play account, not your game account. Deleting your game account does not affect your Google Play purchase history.
- Local data on your device (such as PlayerPrefs) will also be cleared during in-app deletion.
Data Retention After Deletion
After your account is deleted:
- All personal data is removed from our Firebase servers immediately upon in-app deletion
- Email deletion requests are processed within 30 days
- Some anonymized, aggregated analytics data may be retained for service improvement purposes, but this data cannot be used to identify you
