📋 Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or playing Block Star Journey ("the Game"), developed by Glimmer Grid Games ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.

2. License to Play

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and play the Game for your personal, non-commercial entertainment. This license does not allow you to:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Game
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game
• Use cheats, hacks, exploits, automation software, bots, or any unauthorized third-party tools
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright or proprietary notices
• Use the Game for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

3. In-App Purchases

The Game may offer in-app purchases ("IAP") for virtual items, power-ups, or premium features such as ad removal. All purchases are:

• Final: All sales are final unless required otherwise by applicable law
• Non-transferable: Purchased items cannot be transferred to other accounts or users
• Virtual: Purchased items have no real-world monetary value and exist only within the Game
• Processed by Google Play: Payment is handled by the platform's payment system and subject to their terms

Refund requests should be directed to the Google Play Store in accordance with their refund policies.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Exploit bugs or glitches for unfair advantage (please report them to us instead)
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or other players' accounts
• Use the Game in any way that could interfere with other users' enjoyment
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
• Engage in any activity that violates any applicable law or regulation

5. Accounts & Game Progress

• You may optionally sign in with Google Play Games for cloud saves and achievements
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account
• We are not responsible for any loss of game progress due to device failure, account issues, or uninstallation
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

6. Advertisements

The Game displays third-party advertisements to support the free experience. By using the Game, you acknowledge that:

• Ads are provided by third-party ad networks (see our Privacy Policy for details)
• We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements
• You may purchase an ad-removal option through in-app purchase
• Ad availability and frequency may vary based on your region and settings

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the Game — including but not limited to graphics, artwork, music, sound effects, code, text, game mechanics, and designs — is owned by or licensed to Glimmer Grid Games and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

The "Block Star Journey" name, logo, and related branding are trademarks of Glimmer Grid Games.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Game is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Defects will be corrected in any specific timeframe
• The Game will be compatible with all devices or operating systems

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glimmer Grid Games shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Game, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or device damage.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for in-app purchases in the Game in the 12 months prior to the claim, or €10.00, whichever is greater.

10. Updates & Changes

• We may update, modify, or discontinue the Game (or any part of it) at any time without prior notice
• Updates may be required to continue playing and may change game features or content
• We may update these Terms from time to time — continued use of the Game constitutes acceptance of updated Terms

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Game at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination:

• Your license to use the Game is immediately revoked
• We may delete your game data and account information
• You are not entitled to any refund for unused premium items

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Game shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also have the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of residence.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
